Long before Meghan Markle became the Duchess of Sussex, she was a counselor for the One Young World, an organization that focuses on tackling the injustices of gender inequality, women, and human rights. On September 5, the Duchess of Sussex returned to the United Kingdom to commence the 2022 One Young World Summit as a keynote speaker during its opening ceremony. Naturally, her simple yet sophisticated hair reflected the elegance of the event.
Introduced as an “incredibly powerful voice for gender equality,” the Archetypes podcast host graced the auditorium with impeccable style, humility, and a refined low ponytail. Her hair was middle-parted to the crown and then brushed back, then tied at the nape of her neck with a section of hair wrapped the ponytail. The simple style, which can be easily copied at home, allowed her lengths of wavy hair and glowy makeup to shine. There wasn’t a loose strand in sight, just a plethora of inspiration provided by Markle.
Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, joined Markle at the summit. The royal couple, who now reside in Montecito, California, were all smiles as Markle walked to the podium.
