It’s a new day, which means a new hairdo for Ciara! The singer just had herself a night out on the town sporting a medium-length wolf cut — the shaggy style that’s arguably been the internet’s most enduring hair trend this year. How did we not see this transformation coming after her recent debut of platinum-blonde blunt bangs? Naturally, the Allure November cover star stuck to a theme, wearing gold metallic slouch boots to complete her ’70s-inspired ensemble.
The photos of her new hairstyle hit the grid on October 19. Hairstylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez, who was also the artist behind her masterfully crafted protective braids for the Allure cover shoot, kept her dark brunette roots slightly blended out at the crown, giving Ciara’s platinum blonde cut some ash-toned elements.
Her bangs feathered right below the eyebrows while two layers of hair shagged below the cheekbones. Ramirez gave her straight-styled wolf cut some subtle dimension, as the body of her hair layered softly below the shoulders.
She inaugurated her latest cut at an intimate dinner hosted by fashion designer Giambattista Valli. If you scroll to the last photo of seven, you’ll get a full-fletched vision of how good her new style looked, especially in romantic lighting.
