Exclusive: Dolly Parton Dishes on Her Latest Fragrance Collection and Why She Gets Excited “Creating Thing That Bring People Joy”

It’s no secret that Dolly Parton is a busy lady and, in two weeks from now—mark your calendars for December 3 and 4—she’ll also be on HSN, sharing a little bit of herself via a new fragrance collaboration called Smoky Mountain Eau de Parfum Spray ($60).

Comprised of a woody, floral scent featuring notes of tiger orchid, warm tonka and cashmere woods, the perfume is propelled by Parton’s very personal story, which, as she describes it, comes “straight from her front porch the Smoky Mountains.”

“I am so happy about the embrace we’ve had with our Scent From Above fragrance launch last year,” she shares. “That success has allowed me to experiment with new scents and bring different, inspiring fragrances into the world with the Front Porch Collection, which includes my Smoky Mountain fragrance.

And, in true Dolly fashion, there’s a whole lot of “making people happy” attached to the launch. “Nothing gets me more exciting than to create something that brings people joy. And with this year’s new products, I drew on many on the memories from my youth to deliver a collection that I believe is really special.”
