This Finishing Powder Is The Secret To Lizzo’s Porcelain Skin

Lizzo’s makeup artist, Alexx Mayo, took to Instagram this evening to share the full details of the star’s stunning Mac look. The glam moment included beloved MAC products like the Pro Longwear Concealer ($28) and the Liquidlast 24-Hour Waterproof Liner ($23), but the real star of Lizzo’s look was the brand’s Mineralize Skinfinish ($40) in shades “Gold Deposit” and “Deep Dark.” In a BTS video posted to Mayo’s IG, Mayo is seen putting the “finishing touches” on Lizzo’s look by lightly tapping the product between the celeb’s brows, under the eyes and around the chin, locking in a sheer, matte finish that’s certain to last all night long.

Another key component of Lizzo’s People’s Choice Look was her luxuriously natural lip look. In the caption of Mayo’s product breakdown, the artist explained that the key to nailing this look was a combo of lip products he says he’s “obsessed” with. First, Mayo filled the entire lip with MAC’s Lip Pencil ($21) in shade “Mahogany.” Next, he went in with the MAC Matte Lipstick ($21) in shade “Yash” before finishing the look by outlining the corners with the same lip pencil in shade “Chestnut.”
