When Schitt’s Creek actress Annie Murphy is asked why she was asked to shower in the middle of Manhattan, there’s not a whole lot of backstory.
“The question is more: Why not?” the Emmy Award–winner told us of her partnership with BIC EasyRinse razor campaign, which pairs her alongside comedian Eric Andrew side-by-side in the shower. “I think Eric is great, and I had the opportunity to flounce around in the shower in front of a room full of strangers for a day.”
After her self-care move of shaving, Murphy also tell us that, every night, she has to sleep “under a slowly dripping leak from a natural salt spring during a full moon…so let’s say logistics can be a LOT.”
When it comes to skin care, the actress, who previously told us she is “as bare bones as possible,” has a new discovery—in the form of a very well-known French brand.
“I’ve just discovered Caudalie products, and although they’re on the expensive side, they last a long time and make me feel like all of the women of France are cradling my face in their hands, causing it to age backwards.”
Beyond moving backward, she also, self-admittedly, wants to get better at rest.
“I get very good at a nightly routine for about four or five days in a row, and then fall off for a day or two and then get back on, but such is life…and I’m working on it!”
