Cardi B always manages to surprise and delight us with every new beauty look she debuts. Take, for instance, the blue and yellow raccoon-striped hair she blessed us with at the end of March. The most recent look we’re loving from the Bronx-bred rapper is her makeup-free skin that she posted on her Instagram stories.
On April 5, Cardi posted a short video showing her bare face. “My hubby said take a video like this. No makeup. No filter,” she said as she showed her skin from multiple angles. She looked absolutely radiant and gorgeous — we definitely need to know what skin-care treatments she’s using or if she just lucked out with genetics. Her eyebrows looked arched to perfection, and her lashes, which we are sure are extensions, were wispy and long.
She may be fresh-faced, but best believe her nails were still as extra as always. Her long claws were filed into sharp stiletto tips and painted with a chalk-white hue. We officially dubbing her manicure Red Bottoms for the bright red hue on the underside of her nails.
She isn’t the only celebrity that has recently had a manicure with a colorful underside. For the CMT Music Awards on April 2, fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion had white lipstick-shaped tips with a vivid cobalt blue on the underside. It’s a simple way to elevate an otherwise minimalist manicure.
