Landys Chemist’s analysis of search trends and overall interest across social media found that Drunk Elephant came out on top as the most popular skin-care brand of 2023. In addition to celebrity endorsements from A-listers like Hailey Bieber and Khloé Kardashian, the brand has seen an 114% increase in searches since last year, and the #drunkelephant has amassed upwards of 1.7 billion views.
Coming in at a close second is beloved skin-care brand CeraVe. The derm-approved drugstore staple brand saw an incredible increase of 20 million more searches in the past 12 months as well as a notable social media presence, with 1.1 million followers on TikTok and a total of 5.9 billion views under the #cerave.
Landys Chemist ranked all 10 of the hottest skin-care brands of the year, but closing out the top five were Tatcha, Versed and Dr. Barbara Sturm, respectively.
