With so many subtle, light-colored manicure trends happening right now — glazed donut nails, peaches and cream nails, angel nails, milk bath nails — it almost seems like nail art is kinda over. But Emma Chamberlain just proved that you can turn today’s subtle manicures of the moment into absolutely adorable nail art. She seems to have turns the milky-nails trend into what we’re calling a milk bubble manicure.
Chamberlain attended the Thom Browne haute couture show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday, July 3, wearing a white and off-white ensemble with red accents and accessories. Her retro beauty look included middle-parted curtain bangs that swooped out seemingly parallel to her winged eyeliner.
But while everything about her look was eye-catching, we couldn’t help but eagerly zoom in on her absolutely delightful manicure. Remember when you were a kid (or last weekend — no judgment) when you used to blow bubbles in your milk? That’s exactly what her nail art reminds us of.
On the peachy-beige base of each oval, not-too-long nail are curves made up different-size white dots. But that’s not the only bubbly thing about this manicure. A few select nails also have pretty pearls, creating a three-dimensional effect.
