Renée Loiz is a makeup artist based in Los Angeles. Her celebrity clientele includes Quinta Brunson, Cynthia Erivo, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Sherry Cola, Chelsea Peretti, Danai Gurira, and Uzo Aduba, and she’s worked on campaigns with Nars, Beautyblender, Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel, Sephora, and J.Crew. Loiz has also been the resident beauty expert for the work and well-being collective The Blackbird House, a contributing writer for Mae Jones magazine, and is one of Ulta Beauty’s Muse 100 honorees. In 2020, Loiz launched the website Color May Vary to help guide consumers to Black-owned beauty brands. She’s been featured in InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Essence, Ebony, People, L’Officiel, Who What Wear, Vanity Fair, The Zoe Report, Allure, and more.
