Rihanna, please proceed to the podium and accept your trophy for the Cutest Space Buns of All Time. Space buns are always cute, but there’s something about Rihanna’s latest hairstyle that really amps up the adorable factor.
The musician and Fenty Beauty founder recently stepped out in a truly “aww”-worthy pair of space buns. Her new honey-blonde hair was parted in the center, split into two sections and gathered into buns on either side of her head, with a portion of hair from each section wrapped around the base of the bun to cover up any elastic and add extra detail to the style. Two tendrils were pulled out on either side to frame her face and show off those warm blonde highlights. She styled the buns with an equally ’90s-style outfit of a white tank, zip hoodie, jeans and hoop earrings.
Space buns aren’t just cute — they’re a practical way to keep your hair up and out of your face on a busy day, like when you’re going from meetings to errands and back again or running after a baby and a toddler, a la Rihanna herself.
