In a video interview with ELLE to promote her latest role in Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers, Zendaya peeled back the curtain on everything from her favorite memory to her bucket-list item (spoiler alert: it’s directing a film). While we love learning anything about the Euphoria star, our ears really perked up when the actress was asked which beauty products she can’t live without.
“Hopefully I can live without all of them,” she begins before listing off the first nonnegotiable we can get behind: sunscreen. “You gotta have a good SPF,” she says, pointing to the camera and the crew on set. “SPF everyone, every day, wear your SPF, protect your skin.”
Next up: gel nail polish. “Sometimes I do them myself, sometimes I get them done,” the actress says, noting you’ll never see her with bare fingernails. “When you see them and they look like they don’t have anything on [them], it’s a matte clear gel. There’s always something.”
Lastly, she says a clear gloss is the last on her must-have list. “Clear lip gloss. [It] looks great on everyone, [is] very versatile. You can put it over a color or just by itself.”
Just when we thought we couldn’t love Zendaya more, she rifles off a surprisingly straightforward list of favorite beauty buys.
