Apple TV’s “The Supermodels”: The Stars’ Beauty Secrets

Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell is known for her timeless beauty. From her impeccable cheekbones to her radiant complexion, Campbell is one of the most iconic faces of the generation. Luckily, back in 2020, the now 53-year-old participated in Vogue’s “Beauty Secrets” series, and dished tons of her favorite products and routines throughout the 10-minute YouTube tutorial.

Moisture Is Key: “I’ve been taking care of my skin since I was a child because my mother always told me I had to moisturize,” Campbell began her Vogue YouTube feature. True to her word, the supermodel immediately followed the sentiment with the La Roche-Posay Serozinc Face Mist ($16).

Microneedling Magic: Microneedling is all the rage right now, and Campbell has been a fan of doing the technique at home with a tool she procured from a doctor. “It’s a little sensitive around the chin,” she noted as she swiped the tool around her complexion, “I’m doing this because I want to put on a serum and I want it to go really into my skin. Don’t go too close under the eyes with this.”

Super Serums: Speaking of serums, the formula Campbell is prepping her skin to absorb is something of an at-home, skin-care cocktail comprised of vitamin E oil and moisturizing hyaluronic acid, which she gently pats into skin in an upward motion for some extra lift.

Can-Do Concealers: The first ever global face of Pat McGrath Labs, Campbell swears by the brand’s Sublime Perfection Concealer ($34). “I use about three or four different colors on my skin because dark skin is that way—you can’t use one color all over,” she explains before applying the two lightest shades, 23 and 24, under the eyes and on the forehead before applying the darker shades, 25 and 26, along the cheeks.

Face-Sculpting Faves: With a bone structure like Campbell’s you don’t need much to create a snatched, sculpted look. But, the star still has her favorite products for carving out contour and adding some natural flush. During her video, Campbell is seen using both the NARS Blush/Bronzer Duo ($42) and the Tom Ford Blush Duo ($95).

Skin-Care Non-Negotiables: Like many of us, Campbell also has some skin-care negotiables that she credits with being a large part of her radiant, ageless complexion. “I cleanse and scrub every day, I take off makeup every night,” she told Vogue. “When I’m not working, I try not to wear makeup at all. I like to just have clean skin.” She also shared on YouTube that “Hydration, for me, is the most important thing. I’m constantly moisturizing—masks, face masks, creamy masks, paper masks.”
