The Golden Bachelor Contestants Share All

For 61-year-old contest and retired nutritionist, Anna, simplicity is key. “In the morning. I don’t wash my face with a cleanser,” she begins, “I use a cold water rinse. I let it air dry. And then I use my favorite splurge product, which is the Natura Bissé Diamond Extreme Serum ($395). It tightens my skin and moisturizes and just feels fantastic.” The New Jersey native never skips SPF, though, citing her “second favorite product” as the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer ($53). “It has SPF 20,” Anna explains, “It goes on silky and smooth and has very light coverage.”

For 65-year-old therapist, April, a little lip gloss goes a long way—her favorite being Chanel’s—but her favorite beauty splurge? Plastic surgery. Every year I do one piece of plastic surgery,” April explains. “This is just what I like to do. I love being a girl and I do like looking good on the outside. It is a reflection of my inside, which I am always working on.” In terms of what she’s gotten done as of late, April reveals: “When I was getting ready to go to The Golden Bachelor, I had the veins in the back of my hands minimized. The year before that I think I had a little lift along the jawline. Right now I’m doing Endymed (radio-frequency body tightening) to lift my tush. I also do fillers in my face.”

60-year-old Joan admits that over the years, she’s struggled with loss of hair on her eyebrows, so her biggest beauty hack is microblading. “Microblading has just been a godsend,” she says. “I wake up in the morning and I have eyebrows. I go in the pool, I go in the ocean, and when I come out, it’s not like my face has disappeared.”

While 60-year-old California resident Marina loves eyeliner so much she’s gotten hers permanently inked on, her skin-care and makeup routine are fairly simple and tried-and-true. “Growing up in Sri Lanka, we didn’t have a lot, so it was always less is more,” she begins. “I started gravitating towards more ‘natural’ brands. I’m a big fan of Aesop. I use the Perfect Facial Hydrating Cream ($125) and the Damascan Rose Facial Treatment ($85). For makeup, Marina loves the YSL All Hours Foundation ($42). “The California sun can be really warm, and this gives me [an additional layer of] SPF protection.”
