Blake Lively’s Signature Beach Waves Have Arguably Never Been Beachier — See the Photos

When Blake Lively shot to fame as the Upper East Side heiress Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl, it seemed like all anyone could talk about was her hair. Lively has undeniably amazing hair: thick, long, perfectly wavy and shining, golden blonde. Though she’s experimented with different colors and styles throughout the years, like strawberry blonde and tight ringlet curls, the actor always comes back to her beloved beachy waves. They’re practically synonymous with Lively herself, but her latest look is even beachier than we ever thought possible.

Lively jetted off to London for the premiere of Beyoncé’s Renaissance film — likely alongside her BFF Taylor Swift, who was also in attendance — and wore her hair in full, tousled waves artfully tossed to one side. Her hair, which is currently a dark gold shade with ashy roots, looked as though she came straight from a dip in the ocean; it’s the absolute definition of mermaid hair. Lively’s hair has always been long, but it’s extra lengthy these days, falling past her collarbones and down nearly to her lower ribs. The waves themselves have clearly been styled by a pro, but they’re tousled just so, much like Serena’s were, to make it look as though Lively didn’t even lift a finger to style them and just rolled out of bed — or the pool — with her hair looking amazing.
