But you know what we don’t often see? What happens after the event when those beauty pros have gone home and they just wanna go to bed. Enter Tracee Ellis Ross, who shared a hilarious short video of herself struggling to remove her ponytail extension after a night out.

Ross posted the video to Instagram to give her followers a peek at the post-event ponytail removal. “I hate this part. I’m swole with anger,” she wrote in her caption. In the video, we see the actor and Pattern Beauty founder in a black tank and eye makeup. Her hair is slicked back from her face with a long, sleek pony extension that she can’t quite figure out how to take off. “I hate this part of the night. I hate it! I hate it!” she sing-songs in frustration. “I don’t know how to do it by myself.”

She gives it her best shot, gently pulling to try and make the pony budge and breaking a hair elastic in the process. Then she sighs in defeat before starting to giggle about the whole situation. “I think I made it worse.” Thankfully, one of her friends was able to come by her room to lend a helping hand and help her ditch the ponytail.
