Jennifer Aniston

Celebrity makeup artist Angela Levin did the actress’s makeup for the big show. “My darling Jen was my inspiration, as she has the most beautiful lips,” Levin says. “I like her lips best in a creamy and hydrated formula, like the CHANEL 31 Le Rouge Satin Lipstick. So often we don’t see the whole look until the lipstick is applied. For the lips, I made sure to feather some foundation over the lip and applied a light layer of translucent powder. Next, I used CHANEL Le Crayon Lèvres Longwear Lip Pencil in Nude Brun to perfect the shape of the lips. Then, I applied another light layer of powder and used [the] Lip Pencil to gently paint the inside of the lip. For the grand finale, I used the gorgeous shade of CHANEL 31 Le Rouge Satin Lipstick in Rouge Beige. This lipstick was the perfect match for this gorgeous girl—she was on fire!”

Ali Wong

To complement Wong’s white column dress, celebrity makeup artist Daniel Martin took his beauty inspiration from the beauty direction of a 1996 CHANEL runway show. “Dark smoky eyes and nude-beige lips,” he says. “The makeup looks from that show still feel modern and contemporary in 2024. When wearing all white, it’s great to add a pop of color on the lips to brighten up the face! The satin finish of the CHANEL 31 Le Rouge Satin Lipstick adds brightness to the lips without feeling heavily made-up. It’s the perfect finishing touch to your red-carpet makeup look.”

Margot Robbie

“The inspiration for Margot’s look was all about lightly leaning into Barbie with a lot of healthy, warm skin and a soft ‘Barbie’ touch,” says celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff. “No hard lines and nothing too dark, with softness all around. For lips, I applied CHANEL 31 Le Rouge Satin Lipstick in Rouge Beige to give a glowing, beige base to the lips. Then, I applied CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Lip Balm in Light in the center of the lips for the slightest healthy pink flush. Applying two shades of lip color adds both dimension and additional color.”

Keri Russell

“Keri’s dress had a beautiful, ivory glow to it,” says her makeup artist Tina Turnbow. “This called for a luminous flush, a muted lip, and an eye that exuded mystery and strength.” To create the muted lip look, Turnbow applied CHANEL 31 Le Rouge Satin Lipstick in Rouge Beige and blurred the edges to make the lip line undetectable. Then she “tapped on CHANEL N°1 de CHANEL Lip and Cheek Balm Enhances Colour in Healthy Pink in the center of the lips for dewy moisture.”

Brie Larson

Celebrity makeup artist Nina Park “was inspired by the magical warmth of light during golden hour and wanted to capture this essence in Brie’s sun-kissed Globes makeup look. I wanted the makeup to look like she was glowing from that soft, warm light.” For the lips, she used “the understated elegance of CHANEL 31 Le Rouge Satin Lipstick in Rouge Beige. I applied this over well-moisturized lips, starting from the center and moving outwards. This lipstick perfectly complements the overall look.”
